1. Introduction

TekAdept, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the RandoEats mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use RandoEats. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Service.

2. Information We Collect

RandoEats does not require account registration. Your favorites, banished places, and recent picks are stored locally on your device. We collect the following categories of information:

• Location Data: With your permission, we access your device's location to find restaurants near you. Location is used to perform the search and is not used to track you over time.
• Usage Data: Interactions, session duration, feature usage, and in-app events collected via analytics services.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Crash & Diagnostic Data: Error logs and crash reports collected to improve app stability.
• Advertising Identifiers: Your device's advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) used to serve and measure advertisements.

3. In-App Purchases

RandoEats offers optional in-app purchases processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). TekAdept, LLC does not collect, store, or process your payment card information. Purchase records may be shared with us by the platform to fulfill your purchase.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect data under their own privacy policies:

• Analytics: Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) — collects usage and behavioral data.
• Crash Reporting: Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) — collects diagnostic and crash data.
• Advertising: Google AdMob and its partner networks may collect advertising identifiers and serve interest-based ads.
• Restaurant Data: Your approximate location is sent to a third-party restaurant/location search provider to return nearby results.

5. How We Use Your Information

• To find and display restaurants near you
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service
• To analyze usage patterns and improve features
• To diagnose technical problems and fix crashes
• To serve and measure advertisements
• To comply with legal obligations

6. Location & Your Choices

You can grant or revoke location access at any time in your device settings. RandoEats needs location access to find nearby restaurants; without it, that feature will not work.

7. Advertising & Your Choices

RandoEats displays advertisements. You may limit interest-based advertising by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android in your device settings. Note that opting out does not remove ads; it limits personalization.

8. Children's Privacy

RandoEats is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us.

9. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: (a) know what personal information we collect and how it is used; (b) request deletion of your personal information; (c) opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and (d) non-discrimination for exercising these rights. 10. Data Retention

Analytics and diagnostic data is retained for up to 14 months, after which it is aggregated or deleted. On-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law.

11. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
